That woman is crazy! Why dont she put up her daughters' hair in pigtails (which are so cute on little kids that age) I believe she is going to give her daughter an inferoity complex! why isnt her daddy telling her to stop!

Mel B. you been natural for years and you decide to put a perm on your daughter hair. Now! I know you know how to take care of natural hair. Why in the world would you shave her sides and then put a perm on it. Your daughter is not an experiment. If you want them styles put it on your own head. Once she gets older let her make her chooses to get a perm or not. This girl going to completely bald as we know it.

Ah! I've never heard of my sister even considering this. They are so cute, where did they get this done? Just kidding, there is no way that this could or should be done to a 2 year old. This is a great example of child neglect.

I have been without color or perm now for at least 5 years. I am again wanting curly hair. My dilemma is now this - If I am trying to teach my daughter to love her hair the way it comes out of her head, shouldn't I also be doing the same thing?

Keep her haif trimmed every 6 weeks or so and let it grow out. Be sure to condition it and keep it moisturized. It should grown out pretty fast!!!

tie your hair up at night because you get dead roots at night,,,, try not to cut your hair too often,,get the tiniest trim possible because if you have long hair and you cut it you won't ever get the same length back,,,also it depends on your genes,,,,ask your mum or dad if their hair growth is fast or slow?
Try not to use damaging products like hair relaxing chemicals, hairspray,creams,,use those oils i mentioned =)
