Lace Front Wig for Baby Too?
This is plain ol' ghetto-foolery. This absent-minded mother
put a lace front wig on her infant. And as you can see
she even used the harmful chemical glue. The crazy mom
said she had the wig custom-made for her daughter, exclaiming
that she never leaves her house without her lace front wig &
her daughter shouldn't either....pathetic.

In essence, lace fronts are wigs that have a small piece of lace mesh attached to the front which you attach to your head (by double-sided tape or glue), giving the illusion of a seamless hairline. If one is custom made, human hair is individually pulled through the lace, for an even more realistic look.
Unlike a weave, you can get more versatility out of a lace front wig. Also, you can change your style easily and make it look natural.

Heat rollers or a steam setter (such as a Caruso) may be used on synthetic fiber too. Roll each strand carefully around the roller keeping the ends smooth to reduce "fish-hooking", which makes the ends look fuzzy. Using end papers is recommended. Let the curls get completely cool before brushing or combing out the wig. If using the steam setters, it's a good idea to use a "duckbill" or other similar clip to hold the curls in until they're cool and dry.
