Banning heat is a good move - heat damages natural curls.
Look at the products that you are using - are they really moisturising? Pink oil lotion certainly isn't. It contains cheap ingredients and fillers like mineral oil which leave hair feeling greasy but dry. Organics do moisturising creams (carrot or olive oil) which you can pick up from beauty supply stores. Some people like kids organics shea butter detangling lotion. If you have more money then there are many online stores that do great products - Qhemet Biologics - Oyin Handmade - Jane Carter Solutions - Devacurl - Karen's Body Beautiful - Shescentit and Miss Jessie's (though that is not to everyone's taste). Many people use kinky curly curling custard, aloe vera gel, icfantasia or ecostyler gel in their hair to define curls. Ecostyler is very popular with naturals as is Kinky curly. You need to find a good moisturiser from one of these brands or any that do not contain mineral oil and other bad ingredients.

So if i get a full cap wig should i leave a little bit of hair out of the front of my head and blend it in with the wig, because i really dont want to play to have a half wig done or a quick weave. well if i buy a half wig.
