Afro Barbie
Afro Barbie on the scene! An African-American
natural hair group gave young girls at a Columbus,
Georgia apartments Barbie dolls with an Afro.
They didn't purchase the dolls this way -- first they
had to give the dolls a hair makeover using pipe cleaners,
end papers, and boiling water to kink-i-fy the
manufactured straight hair. This was an affirmation
to love your God-given hair.

Barbie was cute, i remember Elvis in her hair style. Truly
African American Hair was unique and it has its own hidden beauty depending on how the owner carry her or his Hair. Remember its not about what your wear or what your hair is, but its about and as long as you know how to carry it. Then surely you will shine.

I don't see a black barbie the only thing black about this doll is the hair. This is a white barbie colored brown with an afro stuck on its head.
