Viola Davis comes into her Authentic Self
TV Host Anderson Cooper questions actress Viola Davis about changing her look.
She is now leaving her wigs at home and wearing her natural hair.
She says she no longer is apologizing for who she is by covering her real self under a wig.
A great lesson for our wig/weave Sisters.

I think this is a great lesson for "everyone" and not just weave wearing folks. I say that because I know people who wear wigs and weaves and they have no problem stepping into their authenticity when they want to. I also know people who wear natural hair and they have issues about their texture; they still recant about "good hair" and such issues. So the message here is not just about those who wear wigs and weaves but it is about embracing and loving who you are and not forgetting it when you do wear your hair in any way you choose. It's important not to divide on this issue. Each person has a right to choice; but just remember what is true and real.

I think, there was no right for someone to interfere in others personal life. Viola Davis is a famous artist and it is pretty provoking activity from Anderson Cooper against here. I support wearing wigs.

He didn't interfere in her life. Questions on talk shows are usually set up. If she didn't want to talk about her hair, she would have told him. Do you wear wigs? If so, why? Are you trying to cover up your hair? Are you ashamed of your hair? If so, why? Every ethnicity can wear there hair naturally, so why can't we as Black Americans? What's your beef?
